"The hotel itself is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful, nice lobby area. Rooms are nice. If you can get a room on the east side, you can plane watch as they take off and land, which is cool if you are interested in that. My only area of caution to other travelers is regarding the hotel shuttle. Please allot yourself ample time regarding the shuttle. This is not an on-demand shuttle. It operates on a hourly window. It was a 45 minute wait at Pearson for pick up, and when I called, I was told I would get a call back when the shuttle would arrive and to go inside the terminal to sit. I never received a call and luckily checked myself. When going back to the airport, it runs hourly, and you have to make sure to tell the front desk the night before so they can book you space on it, otherwise it can fill up. The shuttle is extremely tight, and is not exactly next to the airport, about a 20-25 minute drive. The shuttle experience is the reason for losing the 2 stars. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. "

"We had another very enjoyable stay at the Fairmont! Truly can’t beat the location (across the street from Union) and ambience of the lobby bar. Rooms are spacious and lots of nice amenities. We especially liked the in-room handheld steamer! Note that you may have to request a mini fridge for personal use. "

"We stayed for one night while we were in Toronto. The rooms are small but decent. However, the balcony was unusable due to pigeons and bird feces. The staff at the front desk and the doormen were friendly and helpful. "

"The location is really great if you arrive by train. The design is really charming. We found the scent in the lobby to be nice but a bit overwhelming, I would recommend to turn it down just a notch. Overall had a great stay, the only thing that really bugged us was the soundproofing of the rooms. We could hear everything that happened it the room next door, from the movie they watched to everytime they used the bathroom… It was a cheap stay, but for this last reason I would not go back."

"Great value in downtown Toronto! The hotel was centrally located and the staff were incredible (which I don’t say lightly). It seemed everyone was on a mission to make our day which was very much appreciated. The hotel is a bit older so the facilities are being updated or may require some minor upgrades but very easy to overlook especially for the price and service. Our breakfast was included and wow - it was easily the best breakfast buffet we’ve had at a hotel. The staff here were also amazing. Highly recommend a stay here! "
