"We really enjoyed our two night stay. The staff was super accommodating whenever we asked for anything. The property is incredibly unique and really gives you the local, in the jungle vibe, but with a super nice room. Would happily come back."

"Don’t give it another thought- book your stay at The Banks! I promise you won’t regret it! Beautiful property with no detail spared- Our family of four stayed at The Banks at the end of May for 3 nights and we wished we could have extended our stay. "The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. "

"It is low season so it was quiet and peaceful. The pool was definitely one of the highlights of the location. Our cabana was really cool, too. I will stay here again when I come back. BUT, Carlos was the highlight of our stay. He keeps the property safe and takes care of every guest. On his day off, at 9pm at night he helped me and my travel buddy find an open Emergency Room. She had dangerous heat exhaustion and it was worsening. I do not know what we would have done without Carlos. He is an...

"Wifi was spotty. Husband was having a tough time working. Movies kept pausing and buffering, so that made it difficult to see anything all the way through! Food was excellent! Staff was friendly and accommodating to the best of their ability. My last stay was 10 years ago, Aug 2016! We noticed lots of upgrades to the property. We'll be back, and will choose our 1st room #3 next time!!"

"When we arrived we were met by Leo who was our contact for the entire stay. He was our bartender, waiter, and tour guide. Leo made our vacation memorable, he went above and beyond. The resort was beautiful and all the employees where friendly and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy. When we go back to San Ignacio we will be staying at this resort again. The food was amazing."
