"Although we’ve stayed here before, this was the first time we stayed during the summer. We drove up for my son’s birthday. The room was fine. Run down, old etc but functional. The pool was dirty and the hot tub didn’t work. Staff were ok at best. I asked if we could have a late checkout and even for 30 min longer they wanted more money. Very disappointing stay."

"The hotel is older and you can tell in some spots. There was stains on the bed frame and the shower had some damage around the walls. The property was quiet even though there was construction nearby. Breakfast was slim pickins. Overall was a good place for us staying just a night. They were welcoming of dogs too :)"

"We had a wonderful weekend at Old Greenwood celebrating a friend’s wedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"Excellent location! So much better than other options for more money. Pleasant, helpful staff!"

"The room was beautiful and the staff was amazing!"

"Great place to stay on Lake Tahoe"

"Kayaks are provided daily. Weather was great for the end of September. Had a pancake and sausage breakfast on the second morning and met a lot of the regular guests. They had been coming here for 28, 30 and 32 years! Grounds and hotel are very well kept. Pool was heated and hot tub and fire pit was nice to have at the end of a day here! Solo senior traveller that enjoyed her stay very much."

"Die Unterkunft war super sauber, der Empfang an der Rezeption nett und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung der Häuschen war sehr gut. Das Highlight war der Zugang zum See."

"Great spot."

"Resort fees were unacceptable."
