Fairly basic but clean and comfortable. 10 minutes walk for main station but not an easy route with either slopes or steps or another route crossing roads and through construction work. Also shortish walk both to the city centre and the Danube.

Good place to stay but staff needs to be educated

The hotel is well located also construction affects a bit the walk from the main rail station. Good standard room but some of the staff were not particularly friendly. They probably need to be remembered what is the meaning of the word "hospitality"!

Cleanest room we have stayed in during our time in Germany. Cool, comfortable on some hot days. The air conditioning wasn’t working in the reception area, the staff was doing their best to work through it. 15 minute walk to Ulm Minster, easy to get around. Walls are a little thin, could hear our neighbors alarm clock. I leave ratings on the blow dryers: 8/10. Great airflow, 3 settings but had to hold the handle to maintain airflow. Common factor for each blow dryer I’ve used in Germany.

For the most part, this hotel was a great fit for our family. It had bunk beds instead of a second double bed, which worked perfectly for our two children. We caught colds on the airplane trip and had some heavy head congestion, but when we asked for extra pillows to prop up better, they said they didn’t have a single extra pillow for us, which was very surprising and unfortunate. We ended up having to take pillow cases off the one pillow (each) we had, and stuffed our winter jackets inside to make additional pillows. Not very comfortable. Also, the hotel wasn’t located in the greatest part of town. We didn’t have any issues with safety, but walking to Alt Stadt wasn’t the best. The breakfast was nice with a large selection of foods.

This was such a nice hotel, friendly staff, comfortable bed and bathroom, all for an extremely reasonable price. We would definitely stay there again. Only a short walk to Old Town and the Cathedral.

Excellent location, value and breakfast! Perfect for our short trip to Ulm. The immediate surroundings aren’t beautiful but within five minutes’ walk you are in the old town or by the river. We will definitely return!

Photos are deceiving

This hotel looks lovely on the photos, but we didn’t have the best room. Right on the train tracks with trains coming past day and night. The only thing that was good about the room was the view of the cathedral. We also got charged €12 for parking instead of the stated €8. The beds were really noisy whenever you turn around.

Good place for a night. Immediate area is large road and entry/exit to train station. Rooms are well insulated to sound, but vibrations from track on 3rd floor for rooms against rails may impact light sleepers. Convenient to tourist area and easy to find.

Great value

Great quiet place very short walk to the center of Ulm. The nig bed was a bit gard, but I slept excellent in the bunkbed. One more trash can would be good to have in the room. There was only one small in the bath room.
