This hotel is a little way from the city centre (Central Plaza) area but most tuk tuk drivers seemed to know where it was & charged around 80 baht for the journey (less than ten minutes drive). Alternatively you can get songthaew #9 which takes you most of the way there (during daytime) and will cost you 10 baht. It is close to the small lake called Nong Sim. The town is walkable if you're feeling energetic - it will take 30-40 minutes.
In terms of facilities, there is parking available and a small gym (which I didn't use), nothing in terms of food although there is plenty within short walking distance. The room was excellent for the price - the shower was warm and it came with the obligatory fridge & free wifi, it was also very clean & comfortable.
On the down side, there is no lift/elevator which may be an issue for people with limited mobility. Also, the staff weren't particularly helpful and spoke little English - the woman on reception during the daytime was particularly surly and missing the 'land of smiles' attitude one becomes so accustomed to in Thailand. Not big gripes but it's all part of the overall experience.
So if you don't mind being a little bit outside the city centre then this represents good value for a comfortable and pleasant stay. I would come again.
