I just needed a close to airport one niighter and this fit the bill. But the surrounding area had little to offer (not unsafe, just few amenities), a band played until 11 pm just outside my door, and when checking out at 6:30 am, the office was closed and no one to hand the key to. They did arrange fir a taxi to the airport, a 10 minute drive.

I had a really nice time staying at the Outside Inn. The staff is wonderful and the owner, Mr. Z, did everything he could do to help. All you have to is tell them what you need; Taxi, directions, where to get what you need. And the food there is great. Burgers, Mexican, traditional Thai food... I highly recommend anyone needing a place to stay, stay at the Outside Inn.

The staff was very friendly, the room was cheap, it could be a bit cleaner. For the price there is not too much to complain about.

Not the best hotel .
Staff not like working .not the best hotel to stay at . Forget staff cleaning your room and re supplying and bathroom needs. Even you pay daily rate 😮. I think the owner Needs to look into the staff see if they doing there jobs they are paid to do . Most of the time sitting around on there phones. Forget about drinking water re supplied to you room too. Forget about breakfast or coffee in morning no staff around till 1200 1230 afternoon . So if you like to get early start forget about this hotel . 🤔 oh also they not clean rooms very well and forget any covid cleaning not going to happen .

What a chill spot. If i had the opportunity to run a hotel this is exactly what it would be. The staff are incredible, super nice and friendly. They speak english and thats a us. It is about 10min away from the airport. The rooms are clean and homey. The food is great and the front porch/patio I could retire here. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a home away from home.

Green space, good food and staff
Pleasant and green place to stay near the lake. Good food and friendly owner/staff. My room was nice and comfortable but near the kitchen and thus got strong food smells coming into the room. Also heard some noises throughout the night.

Établissement plutôt au calme. Peu de circulation (inclus peu de taxi, à commander). Personnel et propriétaire très sympathiques. Location de scooter et prêt de vélos super pratique. Location de voiture très compétitif avec partenariat local avec formalité ultra simple et service porte à porte.

Hotel with friendly staff and delicious restaurant
We felt comfortable and warm. The staff speak English and provide friendly service. It was a small garden-like hotel, so the sound of the birds in the morning made me feel very good. The most pleasant is the best because the laundry cost is 50 baths per kilogram.

This location is unlike any in the area. The hospitality is wonderful, and the staff is amazing. A cute little oasis tucked in the city of Ubon. The outdoor eating has lush greenery around it. They provide mosquitoe repellent and fans to deter the insects. The menu has local and foreign food.

Favorite place in Ubon
A wonderful place, truly. Huge rooms, clean and comfortable, a beautiful garden area. Amazing food--a full menu, lots of variety. Very kind staff. Brent, the owner, is super accomodating, and a helpful guide and resource. If you have a question about anything Ubon or Thailand, he has the answer. A true gem, The Outside Inn. I'd be a regular guest if it wasn't so far from Canada!

Awesome hotel, excellent value!
In transit on my way to Pakse, I stayed just one night at The Outside Inn. The hotel is lovely. My room was incredibly spacious, very comfortable, clean and tidy. The dining area is very relaxing, with handmade furniture crafted from reclaimed wood and soothing, subdued lighting. They offer both traditional Thai and Tex-Mex fare, in case you are pining for an enchilada! A continental breakfast with your choice of eggs was included. The staff were helpful and friendly. The Outside Inn is located about 20-25 minutes from the bus station. It is better (more comfortable and cheaper) to take a taxi than a tuk-tuk. A taxi will cost about 80 baht. I highly recommend The Outside Inn!

i was only planning a one night stay on my way to pakse, but extended my stay because it was all so pleasant. everything works well. my bed was particularly comfortable. the kitchen is superb - the breakfast and everything from the menu are a full cut above. lastly, the staff and owner are very friendly and helpful and really make an effort to make your stay pleasant. i will come back!

Cozy and friendly hideaway
We had a great stay at the Outside Inn this past week. We were only there for a night, which was unfortunate, because it was a very comfortable and relaxing place to be. Brent and his staff provide excellent service, the food was wonderful, and the property had lots of space to socialize, read their collection of guidebooks, and just generally enjoy yourself outside of the confines of your room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and the bed comfortable. It is very close to the airport as well. (We were flying out) Would definitely recommend and stay again next time we're in Ubon. I only wish we'd heard of it sooner.

This was a nice older inn..But what was most surprising was the comfort of the mattress in a small city.A quick no frills breakfast same as in your own home.The inn owner was very attentive and asking if we needed anything else just ring.The TV channels were perfect for english stations and even could watch some NHL hockey Stanley Cup Playoffs which ive yet to come accross in my 9 years visiting thailand

The owners and staff were beautiful, pleasant obliging fun loving and professional people. YOUR WISH WAS THEIR COMMAND. The visitors were diversified from several countries and all seemed to mix and chat to each other of live experiences.
