The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!"

"The room didn’t have any bedsheets or blankets. We had one towel. The bathroom smelled like urine very nasty went down to the front told them they didn’t care ask for the Manager was not there said they will call me. They never called. I had to call them when I called back, the manager will not speak to me. Also beware if you get the room through Expedia they will not help you with anything because you didn’t book through them was not happy at all with the customer service. It was awful.!!!!"

"Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again."

"Upon check-in after a long flight from Edmonton, it took over half an hour to get my room. The staff was speaking in a foreign language and I could hardly understand him. He could not understand for the life of him that I had booked a room through Expedia. I showed him email confirmation and a receipt proving I purchased a room on my app and he kept saying it wasn’t booked. After a lengthy phone call with whom ever, he gets me a room finally only to discover a woman with service dogs is already...

"We stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a quick stopover. The staff at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and made check-in a breeze. Excellent value for the price"

"The room was clean, although the hotel could use some cosmetic clean up. Our bathroom sink leaked when we use it. The wind whistled through the windows all night. The heat was turned off, it was very damp and only 62 degrees in the room. I had called ahead of time for adjoining rooms and when we got there they were gone. It was comforting have a security guard on duty at night. The staff was friendly. I think the motel could use some maintenance on the inside, windows resealed, paint to freshen...
