This property made it VERY clear that Expedia does not do any on-site Vetting, and if they do, they sure missed this one. "The rooms are basic. Parking is free. Breakfast is as advertised. We did not eat anything offered. No coffee in rooms. Acceptable lodging passing thru."

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! The hot tub was very relaxing and we were steps from the beach. The staff was very helpful and upgraded our room. The room was a bit hot from no AC, but the staff gave us a fan to use. The resort is very rustic and cozy!"

"The room was tidy but the bedsheets had a cigarette burn on them, and there was a hole on the wall near the floor bigger than a golf ball. The bathroom had brown splatter near the baseboards, and there was dirty paper towels scrunched under the sink. There was also no extra toilet paper other than the one provided. Also the bathroom window didn’t have a screen and the window wouldn’t stay open by itself so we put a bottle to hold it open. The front desk was kind and helpful."

"Cheap & Grimey. Hallway carpet that was dirty & threadbare. Barking dog in the room next door. Barking dog in the hallway. Only two ice machines to service the entire property that only worked intermittently. Opened the cramped balcony to a slew of tree branches that stifled ANY view whatsoever. The owner is obviously funneling off all the profits rather than reinvesting in the property located in a popular tourist destination. It does look as though it may have gotten an exterior paint job...

"Horrible experience, booking was a package deal and it was supposed to be 6/22 check out as that is what my flight and rental car were dated, Nor Cal to So Cal for work, Anyway, on Sat 3/22 I was resting as I was super tired from a work function. 3X the housekeepers kept knocking and told them I was not checking out until sunday. "What I liked about the room is it was updated clean and neat. What I did not like the bathroom did not have enough room between the toilet seat and the wall TV you cannot adjust the volume with the air conditioner running, which was very loud and the TV you cannot adjust the volume could not adjust volume on TV. 😡"

"Very cozy place to stay. The property has a lot to offer however, we came early June and the restaurant and a few other things open late June. That was unexpected for me. Otherwise a great stay. Cozy in the woods. Our room was cabin like feel but clean and a hotel room. We enjoyed it."
