"Great value for money and excellent service from host Iris. Lodge is a little dated but it’s huge with plenty of activities from a pool, snooker/pool table, gym, gaming devices, tennis courts and extensive grounds. Location is handy to main highways, some of the key attractions and only 20 mins into central Rotorua. Would definitely stay here again."

"Great place for a Rotorua stop over, the room was clean & bed comfortable."

"We had a fab stay here. We were a group of 4 and all equally enjoyed it. We stayed in the larger suite that had 3 bedrooms and a combined lounge/kitchen. The place was clean and tidy, in relatively good condition. We were provided with tea and coffee, milk and shampoo/body wash (no conditioner). Pros: bedrooms are upstairs with living downstairs including a separate toilet so there was good separation. Beds were very comfy and clean. Bedroom had USB outlets as well as normal wall plugs. "As a solo female, i felt safe in the histel and area. I went early october so not too many travelers, so quiet."

"Our room unfortunately was not good. Black on the ceiling in bathroom, no milk in fridge, holes in bedspread, burn mark holes in kitchenette countertop. The worst part was that we discovered there were no towels in our room and the office was closed with no number displayed to call. I'm glad we only stayed one night and if the office were open or a number to call I would have complained at the time and requested a new room."

"A typical Ibis. Great Lake view room but only one chair is provided. How could a couple enjoy the view together?"

"Nice stay in Rotorua. The location is easy for access to several attractions. Thermal spa is also available in the hotel."

"Very clean spacious quiet unit. Would highly recommend"

"Just a little dated on the outside, but rooms are nice, clean tidy and have been modernised. I love the later check out of 11 a.m., that is “a nice to have” without asking."

"The place was spotless, the location ideal."
