Opened in 1967, the Prayer Tower is a beautiful and otherworldly design. It was created by architect Frank Wallace for televangelist Oral Roberts at his Christian University of the same name. It's Jetsonian-like architecture is a late 40's-60's space age style known as Googie. People can take an elevator ride to the top and reflect in prayer as they take in the views of the surrounding campus.
