Tuckasegee River

This was during my trip to Cherokee for the Mountain Heritage Festival in the summer. When looking at this, I immediately identify these rocks as being in a mountain stream as I always see it when wandering along any given creek. I always saw this action as travelers 'leaving their mark' in a natural and soft way that does not harm the surrounding environment. This also represents the type of outdoor recreational activities that have been going on for years in Appalachia. "Make your own fun". #appalachianechoes
