"The room was clean but it was old and in need of a refresh. The plastic toilet seat was scratched and peeling, the bathtub was in need of replacing or resurfacing. Our room was very noisy late at night as the back window near our bed was 10 feet from a restaurant back door and at closing time there was a lot of banging on the trash bin as part of their clean-up process."

"It looked like there hotel was being brought up to date with new TVs and recent painting inside my room. The walks seemed a bit thin as I could hear a baby cry off and on for several hours in the afternoon. I couldn’t figure out how to get the local channels either the remote so just used my iPad Good WiFi"

"It was close to the Shakespeare festival site. We had a great view. Breakfast was the same as the free breakfast at the hotel down the road. Air conditioning was good. There were big stains in several places on the carpet in our room."

"The property is well-located for those attending OSF plays and wanting a variety of nearby dining options. Our room and bathroom were both very clean, and the beds comfortable. The bathroom, however, “showed its age” a bit, with lack of a little more counter space being a problem for 2 female guests with makeup bags and hair needs, and a rather unsightly crack in the sink. The pool and hot tub were great! All staff we interacted with, from front office each day to cleaners, were pleasant and helpful. Would stay there again, but probably book one of the more expensive rooms in the Bard’s Inn “Sonnet” property across the street."
