This is a nice and quiets hostel, cheap clean and friendly, young won’t be able to speak English with the owners but that’s ok as I managed just fine. It’s a bit out of the way so I chose this location just as a starting point and moved two days later. no complaints.

A very nice place to stay

Huanchaco is an amazing little oasis, unlike any other surfer/beach town I've been to before. I think it was off-season because it was not overly crowded or loud. The hostel was very nice as were the people who ran it. They worked with my limited Spanish ability to ensure I had everything I needed for my overnight stay. Highly recommended. The only thing I found a little unpleasant was the amount of noise the kids playing in the courtyard made but I always travel with earplugs so it was minor and the children were clearly having fun.
