We found the room and view very nice. Food was sadly of very low quality which we wouldnt have minded if the price reflected this however being charged £30 (1,800 rupees) per person for the evening buffet excluding drinks (as we were not on a food package) was not acceptable. Especially as there was no price on the menu and we wernt told the price before seating. This was the most expensive meal during our 2 weeks in mauritus. However staff were friendly and the free island shuttle was a nice perk.

Probably the warmest welcome on the whole island we received from Karen! She explained everything very carefully and showed us around. Rooms are wonderful, very spacious. Hotel puts a lot of effort in for the environment which we liked a lot. There is a free shuttle to the Île aux Cerfs and you can go snorkelling for free. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Buffet for dinner was good, though quite expensive (water is not included and a tip of 10% is charged automatically).

Amazing stay

What an amazing stay me and my wife had. We both enjoyed a couples massage on the day we arrived and Karen made us feel very at home. The food was amazing And the drinks options were endless with lots of homemade rum.

The villa accomodation was spectacular, so peaceful. We were concerned there was no beach but in the end it didn’t matter, the sun hairs in the gardens were good. The only negative was the dinner buffet, a real shame because breakfast was good and lunch ok and the other negative is the wine is undrinkable even with equal parts of ice.

No beach

A week relaxing by the sea so generally good. It is clear that there is no beach but the sea is not accessible. Ten minute walk to nearest beach or twenty minutes to Palmar which has OK snorkelling. Or take the free boat to Isle aux Cerfs and be prepared to stay there for 4+hrs. Food is good for 3*, a mixture of buffet and table service with some local character.

I felt I was allocated the worst accommodation at the hotel. The shower had cracks and was dank and felt mouldy. The bathroom walls looked like it needed a good scrub. The furniture, room, sheets and towels need serious upgrading. Other than my room I had a nice stay, although not value for money.

Un peu déçu

Dans l’ensemble nous avons passez un agréable séjour le petit déjeuner était très bon et la chambre était propre et bien entretenue jusqu’à ce qu’une souris entre dans notre chambre nous sommes donc allez à la réception ils sont venus et n’ont pas réussi à la faire sortir ils voulaient donc que nous dormions avec la souris au début ils pensaient que ce n’était pas sérieux donc je suis retourné dans la chambre filmer la souris donc j’ai une photo et une video comme il était déjà 20 heures et qu’il était hors de question que nous dormions avec elle nous avons été surclassé une nuit dans une des villa de l’hôtel en nous précisant bien qu’il fallait que le matin au réveil nous ayons quitté la chambre. Le matin nous sommes retournés dans la chambre rien avait été fais nous sommes donc sorti au retour toujours pareil personne ne nous tenait au courant de rien il fallait qu’on aille demander à chaque fois ! Le soir je suis reparti demander à un agent qui m’a dit qu’elle avait été sorti je le remercie en rentrant dans la chambre il y avait des pièges à souris dans toute la chambre à peu près 5 ce qui n’est pas du tout rassurant ! Le trou ou la souris est rentré a été bouché avec de la colle et je l’ai entendu faire des petits bruits, bref tout ce passait bien jusqu’à cet événement je suis vraiment déçu par la gestion du personnel ainsi que de la négligence dont ils ont fait preuve à mon égard vu les avis je m’attendais à mieux.

O hotel é maravilhoso, ótima estrutura e comida excelente. Apenas sofremos com a cama, que era ruim, mas o restante foi perfeito. Utilizamos o serviço de barco que nos levava para a ilha e foi ótimo! O hotel em si não tem acesso para a praia, mas está a poucos metros de muitas

Parfait

Tout était parfait, la chambre était incroyable (nous avions pris la villa avec la piscine privée), spacieuse et confortable. La vue sur la baie magnifique. Les buffets (petit déjeuner et soir) excellents. Le restaurant Kot Nou un régal. Et surtout la gentillesse du personnel. Grande et belle piscine. Navette gratuite vers l'île aux cerfs. Un petit souci dans la chambre a été réglé avec un beau geste commercial. Vraiment rien a redire.
