"The Hotel was exceptional in all respects but one: the restaurant where dinner is available was mediocre, at best. I believe we were told it was operated by an independent proprietor. That would account for the 5 star rating on the hotel itself and the lower rating on amenities."

"This hotel is a gem in the heart of Trieste, Italy. We stayed here 2 nights prior to a cruise. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable and quiet with a great shower. The staff in the hotel were helpful and kind (and patient) and the breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee.
