However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. "Despite the 1960s look from the front and the scaffolding this hotel is built into the side of the hill is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the views of Mawgan Porth were stunning even in the unpleasant weather that we had. Really enjoyed the spa too. Even the Yogi tea that was on offer. "We had such a wonderful stay here! My kids absolutely loved the heated pool! it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and kept them entertained for hours. "Got told when checking in one of the blinds was broken and asked not to use it we ended up going home that evening,we had food it was not great tried small starters the coleslaw was just terrible the chips under cooked and had olives and bread well over priced as the bread was quarter of a baguette and warmed up in a microwave.
