"Lovely retreat in a quaint village placed conveniently between both coasts. Glamping at it's best. The hosts discreet but easily reached. Issues sorted swiftly (beside weather not in their power :).CLose to Newquay, Truro St Ives.Lost garden of Heligan and an amazing pub,walking distance from the site with beautiful food. Breakfast available,basics provided. I had a lovely time despite feeling that the wind will.blow away the tent over te Atlantic. Sturdy tent."

"The room and shower were spotless. It had everything you needed even a fridge and a microwave. The lady who greeted us on Friday afternoon was very lovely and helpful. Our room was out the back of the property so was very quiet of road noise. You could here other rooms tv above but only when it was silent. The room didn't have a fan, although we didn't need one, if we had been staying a third night I'm sure we would have done due to it being so hot this weekend. Otherwise it was a fantastic...

"We have visited and stayed at the Jamaica Inn a number of times over the years but unfortunately this time we were left a bit disappointed. Not with the place or most of the staff themselves but with the entitlement of other visitors and patrons who bring their dogs into the establishment. Nearly all the dog owners were either having their dogs sitting where people need to walk, on long leads so they can roam or not on leads at all so they can roam anywhere. "Just not very good, reasonable price but not really budget or bargain, Great location next to the train, Great Western beach and Pub, Just not a very good hotel. The single room is tiny with a tiny bed and looks more like a student doss house. No air con, fan doesn't work, no lift to the 3rd floor. Staff often not available at all, has a chintzy looking restaurant in the front but no idea what or if they serve, so many better places to eat, or stay for that matter. Tired."

"I stayed 1 night at Kingshead. The hotel is relatively new built and does not as such have historical charm. It was decorated and equipped very well and in a nice way. Thew room was spacious , tasteful and well equipped. The bed was a large and the duvet large enough for 2 people which isn't always the case.
