Amazing castle stay and a very luxury weekend. Cant say anything negative about it. High tea and breakfast was included and we got a River view room with breath taking views. Would definitely want to come back here, again and again.

Having access to the Castle to walk around the grounds was great, we were able to go at our own pace and fully enjoy the beauty of the Grounds and the spectacular views. The areas for special occasions and events makes this place special. People seeking a private place for a wedding or function should really consider this place.

Wir haben zwei Nächte auf Burg Reichenstein verbracht, die Unterkunft war einzigartig, die Mitarbeiter sehr nett und die Burg selber sehr sehenswert und vor allem auch heute noch familiengeführt, das merkt man, toll!

Really cool museum. Love that you can explore the grounds as much as you want as a guest. The included breakfast was excellent. Only complaint is that the wifi was no always working.

Local Favorite Castle
This is an amazing place for sure with a long rich history. There has been a lot of work done to make this place a great place to stay. This castle is located in a very small town so there are no additional shops or restaurants within walking distance. For picky eaters, this could be a bit of a challenge. On my visit, the menu located outside of the restaurant had more options than what actually was available for the dinner menu and I had my reservation set for the opening of the dinner service. My room was clean and nice with a free bottle of sparkling water. There was a bee that apparently lives in the door to the restroom but it didn't trouble me so I didn't worry. While I got the bee out of the room, it came back a couple of hours later and went directly back into the door. Funny. With the limited number of rooms and being on a weekday, I was able to take a virtually private audio tour. It was nice to get pictures without other tourists in the photos.

An amazing location, castle and hotel experience. The best hotel experience I’ve ever had. You can access the area by train, the station is a short walk. You don’t need a car if you can walk.

It’s a beautiful property and the museum is great. I had an issue with communication/lost in translation event that was unfortunate but, that was as much my fault as it was the hotel desk clerk. There could be a greater emphasis / advertisement to customers as to what is available / what comes with your stay. It seems like we just stumbled into things - could have easily not known (for example - free headphones for the museum tour for people who stay at the property) had we not had to ask about them.

Everything about our stay was simply fantastic. The staff are so friendly- the rooms are amazing- and the restaurant is fantastic. The “after hours” access to the castle, museum and the grounds was a great surprise and fu to explore without lots of people there. We will definitely be coming back.

Sehr schöne Burg mit Aussicht auf den Rhein
Wir waren für zwei Nächte auf Burg Reichenstein. Sehr schöne Zimmer! Für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt man allerdings mehr Stauraum (Zimmer 16). Ein E-Fahrzeug kann an der Hoteleigenen Wallbox aufgeladen werden.

Niveauvolle Rheinromantik
Es war ein rundum gelungener Kurzaufenthalt! Die Lage des Hauses ist so wie jene der Mitbewerber in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft (Rheinstein, Rheinfels und Niederwald) mit freiem Blick auf das Rheintal und den regen Schiffsverkehr nicht zu übertreffen; der Eigentümer hat viel Geld in die zeitgemäße und stilvolle Revitalisierung des Hauses und der ganzen Anlage investiert und wird das offensichtlich auch weiter tun, da ihm der Zustand der ganzen romantischen Anlage wohl ein persönliches Anliegen ist - damit hebt er sich wohltuend von den meisten Betrieben im Rheintal ab, die irgendwie in der „guten alten Zeit Mitte des letzten Jahrhunderts“ stehengeblieben sind; derzeit wird der unterhalb der Burg gelegene Weingarten revitalisiert; das Hotel strahlt eine gediegene Athmosphäre mit modernem Komfort aus; genügend Parkplatz direkt beim Haus; freundlicher Empfang; upgrade auf ein schönes modernes Zimmer mit Rheinblick; Restaurant mit großer Terrasse und überwältigendem Blick auf das Rheintal; den Zugverkehr unterhalb des Hotels und auf der anderen Rheinseite haben wir nicht als störend empfunden; gute Küche mit reichhaltiger Speise- und Getränkeauswahl; Frühstück vom gut bestückten Buffet Fazit: ein gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis und eine Empfehlung auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt; wir kommen sicher wieder gerne zurück

Fairytale Stay on Rhine
I was very impressed with our stay at the Hotel Burg Reichenstein! The staff were so friendly and we had a delicious dinner and breakfast. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom shower was amazing! And let’s not forget the castle! The views and museum are incredible. I would absolutely stay here again!

Not what we expected. We thought we would be in an old castle room but what we got was a fully modernized hotel room. The castle had a great museum and was great shape. Meals were pricy.
