"We arrived very late in the evening about 9:30pm and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or more helpful. They recommended a local takeaway that delivered and allowed us to eat our food in the bar and have a drink. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We’ll definitely be back."

"The Townhouse is a fantastic well run hotel with a friendly team who were very welcoming. We had a comfortable tastefully decorated room with a kettle, tea, biscuits, bottled water and a fan heater if we needed additional warmth. The bathroom was compact with small shower gel/shampoo bottles along with lovely soft hand and bath towels. The choice for breakfast was extensive with fruit salad, porridge, a full Scottish and choice of eggs being offered along with tea/coffee and fruit juices! What...

Stayed there to attend a wedding at the local Cornhill Castle which is literally just 10 minutes by cab. The Kirkstyle was so convenient. "Nice hotel, we had a feature bedroom which was spacious and comfortable although it really needs handrails in the bathroom to get out of the narrow bath!. Guests can use the facilities including the pool at the sister Peebles Hydro hotel about 2 minutes drive away. Handy for walking into Peebles high street and the river walks. Good choice of meals in the bar which were reasonably priced and excellent."

"Not much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The view from our room (and even the toilet!) was one of the grand memories of our trip. Parking was in an enclosed area and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. You won't go wrong here!"

"Gardens very well kept a pleasure to sit out and relax. Food very good, the ham hock terine starter was great. Sasha our waitress serving breakfast was really lovely, just a glow about her. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were lovely."
