Room was clean. Door handle was loose but fixable. AC unit was noisy but bed was comfy. Good shower, good food, hot shower. Friendly staff all around. Pool was relaxing.
Great staff, got early check-in and good breakfast, but to be fair, the room is closer to a motel room than a 4 star hotel. Very dim room with carpets, and you really don't want to spend more time in the room than strictly needed
The room was great! Clean, lovely! Could have smelt better? A little musky in the room.
The walk way to the room noticeably has poo from what I guess is the possums. I saw them at night. For hygiene wise i'd recommend the hotel to give the walk ways a clean. Pool is amazing. Staff is lovely. Breakfast was good variety, but not entirely value for $39. Car park to the room is abit of a distance, could have use some help but it did not seem to have anyone to help when I checked in. So i did two trips on my own. The grilled fish at the restaurant was surprisingly very delicious!
This venue is currently undergoing renovations and so to get to our room we had to navigate around various painting paraphernalia. However, once at the room we couldn't have been happier. It was super clean, modern and well appointed. The bed was perfect. Highly recommended, and it will only get better once the renovations are completed.
Room very clean, staff in the bar were extremely efficient and helpful.

Rooms can be a little unkept. Our hotel door looked like it had been to hell and back.
Internally the room was fine, not super luxurious but perfectly fine. Beds comfy and nice view of the lake.
The main standout features of this hotel for us are the pool and the breakfast.
Location, rooms, facilities and service do not reflect the high price we paid ($1,200 for 4 nights).
No other major complaints and if the price was better we would stay again.
The staff were very pleasant, however the property is a little difficult to negotiate your way around. I arrived at 9.20pm and was given a map to find my room. I took a wrong turn and ended up lost as there is very poor lighting, I had to ring reception and someone came and found me and took me to my room.
The rooms are very basic for the price, no phones in rooms and the furniture is quite dated, the bed however was very comfortable.
It was a delightful place to stay. Very friendly and helpful and such a relaxing environment.

We felt the room was overpriced considering what it offered. There was a connecting door to the room next door, and I'm guessing it was just a standard hollow core door - we could hear every word of our neighbours' conversations, and they chatted until after midnight. Our room's lights could be chosen as either dreadfully dim, or dazzlingly bright - no other choice. With the lights on bright I caught sight of the resident cockroach scamper under the bed. It was also a very long walk from the carpark to our tiny little unit. I suppose I just expected better quality from Mercure, particularly for the price we paid. On the plus side, the staff we interacted with - particularly Rhonda - were pleasant and exceedingly helpful.
