"The hotel is extremely understaffed to the point of having to wait almost an hour to check in. There was a sign at the front desk saying someone would “return soon” which is not at all helpful since “soon” tells people nothing. Once the front desk clerk retuned she was very pleasant but the people waiting were not. She told me (because I asked) that she would be alone for her whole shift. The room itself was clean which was a pleasant surprise, but the trash cans at the two entrances were literally overflowing and spilling on to the ground and then blowing through the parking lot. Having a young girl by herself on a Saturday until at least 11pm is alarming and unacceptable from a hotel guest perspective but also from a security/safety perspective "

"get keys to work first time. took three times to get key that worked.breakfast was poor. eggs were runny, french toast was hard. food lloked like it had been there for a long time even at 6:30 am. senior discount not considered because room was booked thru you third party. shower door wouldn't stay closed, tv was very confusing."

"You could be so much better, but I don’t think you will spend the money with the effort to become that. It’s an old property and it’s very European and I travel all over the world dozens of times a year so I do appreciate some elements of this property, the facilities in my room, but it leaves a lot… A lot… A lot to be desired. You need more lighting in the room that is so simple and won’t cost you anything. You can’t have bunkbeds. I know that seems European, but somebody was complaining that was checking in the same time as me with her daughter how many people really want bunkbeds this is not summer camp. I stayed in a hotel in Amsterdam that was very tight and small and they still managed to put a regular bed. I felt like the staff was more concerned with the martini bar downstairs than guests who are paying $600 a night as opposed to $15 for a cocktail. The var . The various people at the front desk almost felt like they were pulled off the street and didn’t know anything about the property. They couldn’t be more clueless and I don’t mean that personally. I mean that for management. It’s a great location, but you can’t rest on just that. Nobody was guarding the front door when an undesirable odd situation happened. A high-end boutique hotel needs to protect itself and its guest. I was fine with the lift but its outdated . 2/5"

"Friendly and clean"

"One of the worst hotel experiences of my life. Room was very dirty. Stains all over walls. Floor felt sticky. Bed sheets were paper thin. The air quality was terrible. The AC did work but it just brought the cigarette smoke in from outside. The bathroom door was broken and I was stuck inside. The knob would not turn so I had to use a credit card to open the latch. The hallways smelled disgusting. Between 1:30 and 2am the place became a party with loud music and doors slamming. Constant traffic. I actually felt very unsafe and checked out before 3am just to get out of there. The front desk must have know what was going on because when I was checking out so early, he called a room and told them to turn the music down. Never again "
