"Upon arriving early, we were told that our room was cleaned and ready. I asked for access to the room and was told that there would be a $25 charge to enter the room before 2:00pm. EVEN THOUGH THE ROOM WAS READY! It’s not about the money. It’s just a ridiculous policy. Way too busy with private events and conventions. From trying to get a seat at the pool, a plate at the breakfast buffet, or long waits to get in an elevator. I’m not sure if we’ll be returning. "

"This is a self serve hotel, you need toilet paper, you have to go downstairs, you want new towels or anything from housekeeping, you need to give them 24 hours. The chairs at the beach, old rickety and dangerous. The cost might be lower, but you pay $30/day to park. The bed was on the ground, it needed a box spring. Who ever rates this hotel a 5 star has no idea what a 5 star hotel is. "

"Staff was friendly, accompanying and helpful. Basic hotel room that was clean. We do wish fees were more upfront and listed on Expedia. There was a $45 resort fee per day and also a valet fee of $57 per day. We were not aware of this and there was no other parking option available. Would likely not return to this location despite a good experience. "
