"Warm welcome with lovely staff who never seemed to sleep(!) but always served with a smile. The menu had a good selection of dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed the homemade food which was tasty and generous in portion size. The spiced plum crumble was amazing and we were told they were homegrown plums! The room was lovely and exactly what we wanted. Everything was clean and neat. We loved our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended. "
"The inn/pub was well attended with nice staff. Our only complaint was that there wasn't any salad option on the menu...not even the old caesar in a bag. As it was a work stay, one can only eat so many meat and chips."
