"Beautiful stay all around"

"When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW! I was blown away by it!!! The rooms were amazing! The dinning area and dinner was wonderful. I've already decided that when it comes time for my honeymoon this will be place I want it at."

"Room, restaurant / bar and staff were great.We had a late check-in and we’d notified the hotel ahead of time so everything went smoothly. Please note there’s no check-in after 10p though so plan accordingly. The food was top notch and the location is central to a lot of great spots in the Highlands. "We were there during the weekend when the town held a special event about mountain bike. Luckily, the hotel was out of the city centre, so the night was peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious. Only one particularly dislike was that from the bathroom window, the afternoon sun was so strong that we could have got sunburn sitting on the toilet. And there was no curtain on bathroom window. Well, it was a very unusually sunny that day. "

"What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables...

"Grande chambre avec vue sur le lac. Proximité directe du ferry qui permet de traverser le lac (gratuit pour les piétons). Pas de service de restauration lors de notre séjour, mais de quoi petit-déjeuner dans le réfrigérateur (2 muffins, 2 yaourt, jus d'orange + lait) ce qui est très appréciable."
