"Pets welcome but advise in advance, perfect location, cozy, easy access for local sight seeing and there’s lots of places to go and see. There’s an M&S food at the garage about 200 metres away, good pub within walking distance but allow 30 mins there, and about an hour to get back in the dark 🙂 There is a microwave and induction hob with fridge and toaster in the kitchen but no oven, all you need unless you brought a pizza, no big deal we just froze it and had it when we got home. "The hotel staff and room were great. It is perfectly situated right in the north terminal. The room was large and very comfortable with black out curtains and air conditioning. What let it down was the bar/restaurant. The food choices were limiting, the automatic service charge was a bit presumptuous as it wasn’t even table service, you needed to queue up to order and collect sauces etc and this was literally in small print on the back of the menu. The breakfast was okay but hot food was not topped up quickly and they struggled to replenish basics like cutlery and milk in the coffee machine."

"The reception staff weren't overly friendly. Also I booked a table at the restaurant months ago for 5pm (I have a little one who normally eats at 4.30pm) to be told the restaurant doesn't even open until 5.30pm and they didn't have my booking. But we did get a table at 5.30. The food was poor, as was the service. The actual hotel room was fine. I thought the bathroom was grubby but it was actually just ring marks and staining in the bathroom. The pillows were way too soft and pushed down flat the second you put your head on them."

"The swim area was excellent, the service was excellent in the bar and restaurant areas. The rooms are very very outdated. The bathroom was not clean. We stayed for two nights and the first day we went out we returned to our room not being maid services we were told we had to request it and there is no one to clean our room now. This was not said to us on check in so we weren’t to know we had to request it. I spent about 30mins to clean the room for my family on the second night whilst my husband and son went swimming. I don’t think this was good enough. Breakfast was good and again service here good just shame about the outdated room and cleanliness"

"This Hotel needs someone like the 'Home Inspector' to sort it out. You can see it was grand once upon a time, but now the bare minimum is done to make a guests stay tolerable. If it wasn't for the gentleman staff member, I would not have stayed a minute longer after my first night there. -Bathroom not cleaned, the previous guests used toiletries were still on the bath rim. -The remote control for TV was in the bathroom -Toilet paper was almost finished -Everything felt grubby -Electrical plug on the wall loose -Bed was as hard as a wooden board -Net curtain torn -wifi completely unstable -Toilet paper stuffed into peeps hole. -Receptionist made me feel unwelcome, when I asked for a glass of cold water, she looked at me as if I was an alien, and with a bar behind us, with ice, I don't think I was asking for too much. I would have paid for it if necessary, but there was absolutely no effort to get one for me. I am in my 60's and had just walked from the station with my luggage during one of England's hottest days on record. - The breakfast tables were sticky, no salt and pepper pots, or sugar, you are given a cup without a saucer, no milk jug, just a tumbler with a little milk in it. On the first day there was a milk line on the glass which meant it had not been cleaned from the last use. Second day there was a pepper pot on the table with no stopper in the bottom, it was completely empty. It became laughable in the end. Truly feel quite gut to have given them any money."
