Casa del Sole reviw
Parking was on the stree in front of the hotel, only few places but with security camera. Hotel is very nice and cozy. Very clean room and confortable bed. Restaurant offered complementary drinks and the food is traditional and very tasty. Loved the pool and also spa services. 100% Recommend !

Mixed bag but mostly positive
Very friendly service, and the pool and patio are great. The room was nice, only complaints were the room was VERY hot and the vent only blew hot air (reported to staff but their suggestion didn’t work). Also the area around the property seemed a bit sketchy, especially between the hotel and the old town. The restaurant offered great food and outdoor seating but the service was not very good. We were the only ones there and the service was still very slow. Had to get our own napkins and salt off another table. Water never got refilled. Inattentive service at all levels at the restaurant

Warmly recommended
Such a wonderful experience! I came in the middle of the night and was treated very well by the receptionist. My single room was nice, it feels old fashioned Italian. It felt fresh even though it was older furnitures and so on... Maybe I would have wished for a few more appliance in the rooms. Like hangers and some small things. But the location is really good and calm, the pool area is beautiful. The breakfast was tasty. The welcome drink (a glas of wine) I received the day after, because of my late check in. So I could chose what ever time I wanted. I used the gym, which was okey but not more. The best thing was the staff, so kind and helpful and I also had some good chats with them. No problem to leave your luggage if you have a late flight or train to catch. I would definitely return.

Quiet and Traditional
A beautiful hotel, in a quiet spot away from the city centre. The pool was ideal with the hot weather. Breakfast is a bit average but the daytime food offering is very good and there were plenty of staff available to help. Only downside was the lack of free airport shuttle, which I feel they selectively use to entice high-value customers.

Una piccola oasi in città. Si stava troppo bene, non ti veniva voglia di uscire per fare il turista. Tranquillità, bellezza, ospitalità. Quando siamo arrivati è stata una piacevole sorpresa.

Nice rooms and area
Nice rooms but with old and har beds. The design of the room and other areas are really nice. The pool and pool-area is good. 10-15 min walk to the center.

Beautiful place - I'd go again
The hotel setting is quaint and beautiful. I was there on snowy weekend and it was so peaceful and lovely there. The food was excellent too. Comfy rooms although a little dated (small TV, no desk, small shower)

Lovely hotel tucked away in a residential area and just 10 or so mins walk from the centre of Timisoara. Definitely recommend.

The property was quaint and lovely. Unfortunately I was there during a wedding reception which was held in the pool area and open air restaurant outside my room and went all night. Also, my tour guide asked if I could grab something from the breakfast bar I'd paid for 15 minutes prior to their official open time to accommodate our tour; they said yes, but when I went down to the breakfast bar the servers had limited English and just kept telling me to come back at 8. They did offer me coffee while I waited which was kind. (Plus there was a BIG spider on the wall in my room.)

Schönes, ruhiges Hotel.
Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und geschmackvoll in traditionellem Stil eingerichtet: dunkles Holz, rote Gardinen und Teppiche. Im Bad ist genug Platz.Besonders gut gefiel mir das Schwimmbad. In der Nähe fährt eine Straßenbahn, die ich wegen der günstigen Taxipreise nicht genutzt habe. Ein Taxi kostet pro Stunde je nach Tageszeit zwischen 25 und 30 Lei. Für eine Fahrt zur Piata Unirii bezahlt man je nach Verkehrslage zwischen 10 und 14 Lei. Kostenloser Shuttle Service zum Flughafen. Der Fahrer war sehr zuvorkommen und fuhr auch sehr umsichtig.

Beautiful hotel close to the city centre
A hotel much larger than it appears from the street, with a beautiful pool and restaurant. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, room and bathroom were great. Highly recommended.

Litet och trevligt hotell utanför centrala staden
Mysigt hotell som är byggd som en innergård med pool och restaurang. Mycket god mat, själv testade jag grillbrickan som tillagats på stenungn. Hotellet ligger i ytterkant av centrala staden men med gångavstånd till det mesta på några minuter. 24/7 bemannad reception, gratis Wifi och trevlig personal som inte alltid förstår engelska men gärna hjälper till.

schönes Ambiente
Hotel liegt nicht im Zenrum aber in Laufweite. Von aussen unscheinbar hat es ein mediterranes Flair im Inneren. Das Restaurant ist gehobener Standard und Ich würde es eher als Restautrant mit Hotel bezeichnen.

We spent just one night at this hotel, but that's enough to know that it is a good hotel. It's close to the city centre and very quiet. Breakfast was also good and the staff very kind.

Beautiful hotel with everything you need
Amazing hotel. Quiet and private courtyard with a restaurant and pool, about 10-15 minute walk to the center of old town. Extremely friendly staff ready to help.

Un lugar excelente, pero con el riesgo de "bodas"
Realmente se trata de un hotel magnífico, con un servicio excelente. Lo que se suele llamar un "hotel con encanto". Con piscina y un restaurante muy bueno (aunque algo lentos, como suele suceder en Rumanía). La limpieza era excelente y no habría quejas si no hubiese sido por lo siguiente: uno de los días había una boda en el hotel y hubo música hasta la 1:00 de la madrugada por lo menos. Mi ventana daba precisamente al patio donde estaba el restaurante. Esto hace que la nota global baje. Me parece bien que hagan bodas y todo tipo de fiestas, pero que avisen ANTES de hacer la reserva para evitar estas desagradables sorpresas. Otro aviso: mi habitación estaba en el primer piso y no hay ascensor. Para personas con movilidad reducida podría ser un problema.

Nostalgic childhood home, great hospitality staff.
The architecture, the furniture, the warm hospitality make me think to return to the Casa del Sole (The Sun's House) as soon as I can. The entire staff is wonderful , and I like to thank Danny, one of the waiters who helped us with the luggage at arrival on the...staircase! The food at the restaurant adjacent to the pool was fresh, and local. The staff's non-show attitude enriches the beauty and tranquility of this home away from home.Even the sweet cat's welcome at the staircase base adds a lot to the comfort of a short vacation making you ignore that the living room TV is not working!

Nice Hotel Bath and Bed to small
Das Hotel macht insgesamt einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind bis auf die im Dachgeschoss geräumig. Die Bäder sind allerdings, wenn auch sehr sauber von der Größe her eine Zumutung. Das Restaurant ist empfehlenswert. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Wenn man die Bäder vergrößern könnte wäre das Hotel mehr als empfehlenswert.

Eine Oase in Timisoara mit eigenem Pool
Sehr netter Empfang, zur Begrüßung wurde uns gleich ein Getränk an den Pool gebracht. Pool sehr sauber, drumherum auch. Ein Bügeleisen an der Rezeption auszuleihen war auch kein Problem. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht da.
