"The little breakfast was great! Took it for the road which was convenient. The bed was a little low and soft for our comfort level but nothing you can do about that. Coffee was great, the view was amazing!!! Great lake view from our room which was the fletcher. I had coffee outside on the Muskoka chairs."

"We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)"

"This is a great place to stay if you're on a budget. The King's College campus is beautiful. The student staff are always warm and helpful. It's not a luxury hotel, it's a student dorm with shared bathroom facilities. But it's fine and it's cheap and it offers everything I need so it's where I stay whenever I go to Halifax."

"This old; run down hotel is undergoing partial renovation - noise starts at 7 am. Bed comfortable, sheets and towels clean. No tv. Everything is old - mismatched, scratched furniture. No elevator. I slept and showered there but that was all."

"Pictures are not true to the condition of the property and people giving 5 stars reviews are untrue. We came to know that property management gives 10$ Tim hortons gift cards for the 5 stars reviews and should not be trusted. Mattress lumpy and bed was making squiky sound with smallest movement, couldn't sleep. Bathroom didn't have basic things like toilet paper holder or proper lock. There was no heating in the room even though it was about 2 degrees. When asked for room heater, one provided...

"As soon as I walk in, I realize I can eat off this floor right now. That's how clean this place is. And I was like, d*** this place. This place smells so good. Holy man, look how bougie this place is man. All the lights have dimmer switches. The view is amazing Love the hot tub, but the black flies were brutal. They'll get you.\n But had a wonderful stay and will be back. The black won't bother you after Like 9 or 10 o'clock. And iwas like damn look at the shower head that's crazy."

But the staff were nice enough, although they had to find us a room when we arrived, despite our reservation made months prior. They did find us our room, and it a bad stay overall. "Had an awesome couple of days. Hubbards is a beautiful spot and the Tuna Blue Inn is fantastic. The staff are amazing. The restaurant is great. Unfortunately we were late in the season so things weren't as lively. The only issue was with the water pressure in the shower but we loved our stay."
