"This was lovely in many ways. My room was spotless and spacious, Breakfast was hot and plentiful with a reasonable choice. The new season has maybe not kicked in as some of the outside areas could do with a little tidy up. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it is worth noting that there are few public transport links to the local towns and seemingly none before 9.30 am or after about 7 pm.,"

"Unsatisfactory. No kettle in the room—I had to ask twice. Restaurant service was slow and inattentive. The steak pie had very little gravy, and the same staff member was on her phone at the service counter, so I couldn’t request more. No offer of dessert. The bedroom door emits a mini alarm when opened, which is irritating late at night. The walls are thin, with corridor doors slamming and disrupting sleep. "Lovely room lots of character. The food is excellent and clearly very popular indeed the local area, definitely reserve a table. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had a breakfast sandwich ready for me to leave early for work which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay again "

"This is located almost on a roundabout of a major road, however, it wasn’t noisy at all. Close to stone henge and literally across the street from a restaurant pub. Great people. The site itself is a little muddy due to some construction happening but I’m sure it will be fine in the summer time. "
