"We decided to stay at Burg Rabenstein for one evening in a trip around Germany, and it was well worth the stop. The castle and its grounds were beautiful. There is a local cave and falconry on-site; however, they were both closed for the winter (we visited in December). Even so, we were able to take advantage of the local hiking trails around the castle, which we thoroughly enjoyed. "Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Bett und Matratze (angenehme Härte) waren in Ordnung. Sehr schön, das Bettwäsche und Handtücher inklusive waren, obwohl in der Beschreibung etwas anderes stand. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Ein zweiter Stuhl und ein zweiter Nachtisch (war auch sehr wackelig) wäre gut gewesen, ist ja schließlich ein Doppelzimmer. Fernseher schlecht platziert. Bad ausreichend, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Können wir gerne weiter empfehlen. Das Hotel ist etwas verwinkelt...

"The room was so clean and comfortable! It was warm but the front desk allowed us to borrow fans. It was very spacious. Breakfast was a really great spread. The hotel is very close to town, no more than a 15 minute walk. The only problem I had was I had to have cash to get water and didn’t bring any so I had to run to the store to get water with my card. But other than that it was perfect. It was very accommodating for our dog as well!"
