"I thought with a full kitchen there would be at least a pan to boil water. They did eventually bring coffee for the coffee pot, but having no one available at the desk was annoying. They seem to only respond mid morning so unavailable when we checked in. The rooms were oddly missing the extra furniture you normally see. With 1 luggage rack and no extra table, ironing board, or desk your baggage has to sit on the floor. Nice remodel but they've missed the details that create comfort."

"We had a 2 night stay at the property. Helpful staff, restaurant onsite available for early breakfast buffet before lots of guests catch ships in town for excursions to national park. Property has a cafe which is nice and even fridges out front of rooms with ice bags for picnics, coolers, etc... Would stay again, conveniently located just 5 minutes outside downtown. The complimentary shuttle to downtown for activities & restaurants is very convenient too."

"Historic apartment with everything you need. Bit like stepping back in time which was cool. Comfy bed, extremely hot water if you need it lol! Fantastic location downtown in shopping area with great food and bars just steps away. We stayed at 8 different hotels, lodges, etc on this trip and this was our favorite."

"We liked the location of the Tides, an easy walk to restaurants and other things in Seward. The check in was easy using a code provided by staff. The only significant problem was a strong odor in our room. The room appeared to be perfectly clean but the musty/maybe moldy odor was very bad. We tried airing it out, made coffee and popcorn in the hopes of hiding it, and purchased a deodorizing spray, but it persisted. We got used to it after a while in the room but if we left and our lungs got fresh air we came back to the strong smell."
