"A beautiful thatched pub in the Suffolk countryside with original features and delicious breakfast"

"The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. "Good hotel service and staff Bit out of town so need to get a cab / uber but free parking is a bonus"

"Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed. Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds."

"Everything was amazing. Oliver was beyond helpful and kind!"

"Great location, comfortable room and really nice breakfast"

"Lovely traditional pub, excellent food and accomodation"

"Lovely hotel and very helpful friendly staff. I booked a classic room which was spacious and nicely presented. Appreciated the addition of room service after a long journey and a well presented breakfast the next morning. Exceeded my expectations actually"
