Tucked away on the edge of the Kathmandu valley, the Himalayan International Yoga Acadmey (HIYA) is run by Dr Subodh Simkhada, he and a few other instructors who teach yoga and meditation practices to those staying at the academy. Massages are also available within the packages they offer. You can stay overnight in a tent or the bungalow which also houses the main office. Should you want to learn how to be a yoga instructor, you can do that too over several months (applicants must enjoy copious amounts of dahl baht)
