How to get here by by bus/foot:

From Victoria bus station, ride the bus going to Marsalforn.

Alight at the stop near the bay, direction going to Xwejni Bay.

Follow the path going to the salt pans.

Walk/Run.

Take pictures.

Breathe.

Walk/Run some more.

After passing Xwejni Bay and the salt pans, you will see a paved, winding road going up. You will also see a small store selling sea salts. From here, it is approx 3km going to Wied-il Ghasri.

There are cars/atvs passing by so, if at some point you feel tired and restless -- 👍🏼

Folks in Malta are very friendly and helpful, you won't feel unsafe with hitching a ride ;) 

After a few kms, you will see a sign going down to wied-il ghasri. A few flight of stairs down and you will finally see this rewarding sight. 

Plop on a mat, swim and don't forget to have fun! ;)
