"A central location and friendly staff were the cheer leaders of our stay. Unfortunately we found the room over furnished for the 17m2 available, barely room to unpack. The windows were painted shut, which for a small room was uncomfortable not to have fresh air. The lift did not go to our floor directly which meant a flight of 8 stairs with luggage to get to our tightly packed away room. A pretty hotel."

"Everything about this place was great and just what we wanted. Spacious rooms with everything you need in the kitchen.
The building is a bit dated, but they’ve done a lovely renovation job inside. We appreciated the nice, new hot shower. The bed was comfortable with nice, cosy bedding and the heat pump was great. We both had a great night’s sleep.
Our late check-in was easy thanks to some clear instructions in a text message and we dropped our key off to one of the guys when we left, who was really nice. Thanks for a great stay!"
"Can’t say enough good things about Dunedin House - friendly staff, great room and bed, unique decor, and countless thoughtful little touches over the stay. Really impressive. Normally I’m a sucker for always trying somewhere new but I have a need to Dunedin I’ll definitely be returning."
"It was easy to find. Car parking was easy. The best location in the centre. Staff were amazing. Room was exactly as described. What would we change.....hmm thats hard it was fabulous. "
"Friendly staff. Clean room. Clean shared toilets and shower. Hard to drive up but can park on the streets. Laundry is 9am til 7pm. Staff can help you so you can go out "
