"My Standard size Ford Ranger would not fit in the garage and no other secure parking available. I had to park the vehicle side ways to get it in. No back up power to deal with load shedding. the floors were not clean. Never again"

"Hotel super antigo e nada de padrão Mercure. Nos deram um quarto com ar condicionado vazando agua por toda a sala e por isso tinha um cheiro horrivel de mofo. É tipo um apart hotel, tinja 2 quartos, sala com cozinha e banheiro. Mas o ar so na dala. Depois de reckamarz nos trocaram de quarto para um meljor. Mas nao se compara a outros Mercure que ja fiquei. "

"The property is beautiful outside, rooms are okay . Not what I expected but I love that they are clean to the T. Furniture is cracked, there’s also a cracked wall in the bathroom. Love how big the mugs are had a nice cup of tea in it. We had to shower with cold water !! So disappointing, the hot water is limited at night Overall the stay was good."

The hotel has a unique character that goes beyond its infrastructure and decor, it goes all the way through the astonishing training of its staff. The people at the African pride is by far the best I’ve experienced at the Marriott network at a global level. We’re definitely will become regulars while in town and highly recommend to anyone travelling to Johannesburg."
