"Wakable distance to the main entrance of Petra. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Pool was fresh and nice after a long day of walking. Staff were really nice, gave us the right info to avoid been scam by the numerous people that will try to scam you. Follow the staff tips, you'll be fine."
"Very nice hotel, the room was small but beautifully decorated. Just consider that it's on top of a mountain in Petra. Close to the visitor center walking, like 10mins walk using some shortcuts, or a short ride in taxi.
Our friend Andullah was so nice with breakfast! He saw us struggling and gave us a huge banquet...thank you so much for making us try an authentic jordanian breakfast!"

We arrived early and although there was no staff at the hotel, a staff member quickly arrived and opened the hotel, let us get ready and stored our bags whilst we went to Petra.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised given the price we paid.
It was a walkable distance to Petra and there were restaurants nearby where we had breakfast and dinner.

"Petra moon is a great hotel - from the outside it looks a bit old but the rooms have been renovated recently and are beautiful. The location is also excellent for tourists looking to visit Petra. Even more, the staff here are exceptional. My wife and I were in a car accident and I called the hotel to ask for help (everyone was speaking Arabic and we only speak English).
