"Beautiful hotel in a quiet, scenic part of the city. The number 9 tram takes you from the Hague central directly to a stop across from the hotel. Hop on that tram again and get to the beach in about 10 minutes. There's a nice grocery store about a 15 minute walk along the canal and through an authentic Dutch residential area.
A couple of points: to get on/off public transit requires scanning your bank or credit card. Had I known this in advance, I might have brought a card for transit use only. Also, there's major construction occurring immediately out the back of the hotel. If you're sightseeing during the day, this isn't an issue. BUT, if you're hoping to relax in your room during the day, this might be an issue. "
"Room was very clean. Bathroom decent size. Good hot water and pressure. Sadly it floods the bathroom. Beds comfortable. Good view. Location is excellent, right beside the station, an easy well lit walk to the beautiful center of leiden. Super range of breakfast, very fresh. Nespresso machine and pods in the room. Parking in level just below the hotel, easy to use and safe, well priced for leiden. Highly recommend this hotel"
"Room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great size. Hotel was the perfect location. Walking distance to Delft and easy on and off the freeway. Excellent property I would stay again. "
"Stayed in room on the 6th floor close to elevator and maybe a custodial closet? Constant noise of doors opening and shutting.
Shower was leaking but it worked. Water pressure could be better.
Staff was amazing: Friendly and helpful!"
"The hotel was actually quite nice, but the location wasn’t good for us. There were no restaurants, shops or sights writhing walking distance and we had no car, so anything we wanted to do or see was a 20 Euro ride away."
"Staff was really helpful. By waiving daily room cleaning, we got free drinks once a day. They also helped us get a taxi to the train station for the morning we left. Because we were staying several nights, the staff put us in a room facing the inner court of the hotel which made it really quiet. The breakfast included was excellent and realizing the cost of meals to eat out, this was very helpful. City taxes were added on to the hotel bill and seemed a bit high, but we were warned by Expedia. Hair dryer in room has a short cord, so difficult to stand at sink and dry hair, but not impossible. Nice large shower. No fridge in room, but we didn't really need one. Overall cost for the room we felt was a bit high, but it was prime time tulip viewing season, so maybe cheaper during other parts of the year. For security reasons you have to scan your room card to get the elevator to work. Took us a while to figure that one out. Maybe we were told, but we missed hearing it. Location was about 3 blocks from train station and about one block from tram pickup point. It is also located right near a park area with lots of cafe restaurants nearby. Would gladly book here again if we make another trip to the Netherlands."
"Beautiful ocean views and good sized room with good amenities. Spent time at the pool on the 13th floor with ocean and beach views. Bathroom clean and spacious. Beds were a bit stuffy and quite bouncy but comfortable. Parking isn't great, nothing on site but can get discount 100m away in beach Q-Park. Friendly staff and although we didn't eat there restaurant looked good."
