"This is a beautiful property set in the Devon countryside, on the edge of Dartmoor. It has beautiful views over the valley and you can sit out in the garden while you admire them. The house is really old and well maintained, full of traditional wooden beams. The breakfast is really nice as well and you can pre-order hot food. I would recommend it to anyone."

"Completely detached barn. Very warm despite the weather being awful. Easy to find. Lovely layout. Had everything we needed and location was excellent , between Oakhampton and Tavistock. Very powerful shower and comfy couches and bed. Great size private garden but pity we couldnt sit out much but still very enjoyable"

"Lovely ‘simple self-catering’ in the heart of Dartmoor. Great set of appliances to have a nice coffee and brekky in bed! Coffee and non-dairy milk included - thank you Terry :) we really enjoyed our stay and had a super sleep. "Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. The pub itself is lovely, good food & comfortable clean rooms. However the lack of customer care lets it down. First as a previous customer mentioned is the welcome.
