"Always a good stay, we relax, walk the dog and have nice food and drinks in the bar, few welcomed changes since last visit. Decor and furnishings been updated. Lot new additions to the camper van parking area too, new signage etc. Very impressed. If you go between 12-5 Monday to Friday they do 2 course meal £13.95. A bargain, good food. "

"We had a lovely 2 night stay with friends. The rooms were big & well equipped, really comfy beds & pillows. Loads of tea/coffee etc . Very quiet & very clean. "We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the inn. We managed to snag an amazing deal at half the usual rate. Our 2-bedroom room was very clean - only a couple of snags were experienced. The first sleeping area had no bedside lighting and the second had no accessible mains supply! The breakfast included was excellent. The setting for the inn is fantastic - lovely area to walk around."

"Clean comfortable and very quiet. Not noticeably busy at all. Rather dated interior & no food served at the hotel. No breakfast lunches or evening meals despite notices outside saying hotel has a restaurant. It doesn’t. "My partner and I came up north for a hike, we spent two nights here and it was great; a good location and a peaceful scenery. Breakfast was good as well. "As i was on foot ( by Train ) i wanted some where near the Station to commute between Carnforth and Silverdale to access the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss and this Hotel fit the bill,very good value for money too for 3 nights. "We enjoyed many facets of our stay at the Lister Arms in early May. The sights and walks are stupendous--there are steep walks and near flat walks along the river and some through stone walled grass fields with lots of sheep.
