We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was attentive, room was clean and quiet, parking easy, bar was limited on drinks but what they had was perfect for us. We enjoyed the music on the patio and the view of the river. The mattress was super comfortable with a soft mattress topper. Will stay again next time we are in the area.

Views from the property and rooms were great. Awesome viewing point for the fireworks on the 4th. Live music while we were there. It’s a quiet place if you need a good nights rest. The pool Wasn’t the cleanest and I’ll leave it at that.

I have stayed here since the late 1980s and it is a wonderful and welcoming place. Over the years the benefits of staying there have really increased and the breakfast is really delicious. What's more, they have added cocktails and food later in the day which is really an advantage. The pool is lovely and the views are amazing.

Beautiful view, easy to get to, plenty of parking, friendly staff. Decent breakfast for a continental one, although the coffee was quite weak. Room was very clean and comfortable. There was loud wind noise coming from under the front door, so I had to block it with a rolled up towel. Adding rubber strips to the bottom of the door should fix that. Otherwise I'd stay there again.

It was an enjoyable stay. It's a bit out of the way but worth it. Room was clean and quiet, nice view of the river, bridge and dam. I wasn't able to enjoy the breakfast because we decided to sleep in a bit. The bed was that comfortable.

My favorite place to stay in The Dalles. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A little off the beaten path but, well work it. A few months ago therw was live music on the patio and good conversation with others there. Great for families too.
