"The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. There is no where to eat within walking distance but the 2 local pubs are a short walk and the locals are very friendly. As we were there for a week...

"Great location, but overly hot with hard to control heating and a little tired and dated. Access to the large parking area is very tight. Not practical if you drive a 4x4"

"Great staff, clean and tidy room, good location with easy car parking. Great food including very good options for my coeliac wife. This is a quaint more traditional style of hotel with it seemed like only six rooms. You still get a room key attached to a fob rather than the key cards you tend to get nowadays and the flooring is a little sloped in places all adding to the charm. We had just a one night stop over but would be happy to return."

"Room was pleasant but was not serviced on second day. Cooked breakfast was reasonable but there was no cereal to start with nor toast and jam to follow. One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive. "Weekend break away with partner.excellant cabin.clean warm...had wifi all the tv platforms logged in for you. Teas coffees provided Wet room View of the lake/pond from cabin and of course the sheep So warm and conformable Tried a couple of the activities .shooting and archery..both jj and jack were amazing..thank you both Had food and a couple of drinks on first night in their bar and restaurant..enjoyable.
