The front desk staff, Dipesh was very caring and helpful with us. There were a couple of issues with the room that we were initially assigned but Dipesh was able to resolve the problems with the room in a friendly and quick manner. Overall he provide very high quality service.

Fantastic stay. Went above and beyond for my birthday , the staff are super friendly and attentativ The only negative will have to be breakfast, on both days the food was cold, this was said also by a few other guests. If the issue with food temperature is sorted the hotel would be 10/10

Beds very comfy and perfectly crisp cotton sheets. Plenty of extra touches, tea, coffee and herbal teas as well as decafe options. Shower wash and body lotion. I would recommend this hotel.

Everything was as i needed for an overnight stay. Friendly staff, very clean and peaceful. I didn't eat there but would certainly do so should i stay there again.

Staff very welcoming, but on checkin we were warned we’d experience noise as it was party night. We actually didn’t experience bad noise from the party or was the noise from the next room. Kept us awake til 4.30 am with their shouting and banging doors shouting Jill. I like to sleep when we stay in a hotel so sadly we won’t be returning. Room was nice and comfy maybe they need to be soundproofed. Room rather hot and we had to,pen the windows to cool it down. Breakfast was good and plenty of options very rarely get offered fried bread with cooked breakfast so that was nice to see. Sorry for the low rating.

Liked the fact the welcome by reception was pleasant and check in was easy. Hotel location is great and easy to find with free parking in the hotel car park. Free WiFi is a bonus. Only negative I could find was the poorly performing coffee machine in the bar area next to the restaurant. The cappuccino setting only gave half a cup. It would be nice to have the option of a cup of coffee or a mug of coffee.

Always use the Grange when in the area. Local to Silchester where we visit. Comfortable bed and clean room. Staff friendly and keen to help (i use a walking stick). Reasonable room rate. Lovely breakfast.

We stayed here for a family event it was just perfect for location large car park clean and comfortable with air conditioning I thought the cost for breakfast was a little high though but other than that a great stay

Room noises due to faulty slamming fire doors from Dining Room. Evening meal very nice and reasonable prices. Breakfast was poor quality as sausages overcooked and barely warm and bacon also very overcooked. Made to sit in Lounge area to eat breakfast when dining area was empty. No Internet tv service at all. Sorry but not what I would expect from the Mercure brand.

No problems at all, v clean and super comfortable beds. The lady who checked us in could not have been friendlier or more efficient. Breakfast was very good, not a huge choice but everything we had was decent quality. Honestly nothing to complain about at all.

We were very impressed with everything at this hotel . From the staff the the rooms everything was spotless. Well maintained . Good food . And a great night's sleep . What more could you want . Unlike most hotels this shower was actually powerful and spotless . We will be back .
