"Just doe a night it was ok. There are lots of little things that just need a little attention to smarten up the hotel and make the experience a better for guests. Staff are helpful but seem a little complacent that’s how things are. Eg. Hotel rubbish outside in the walkway between the two car parks where staff also have a ‘smoking table’ with lots of ash, rubbish on the flat roof outside our window, mould on our window frame, sheet was too small for our bed frame and didn’t tuck in, fire door...

"Hotel was absolutely lovely, however the service in the restaurant was very slow and staff were just hanging about chatting and ignored us for quite a while to bring menus, take the order, clean plates etc. They automatically add on the service to the bill. We had 2 cookies and 2 soft drinks on arrival £17! An excessive mark up!"

"My room (caramel) was huge! Clean and comfortable, though slightly difficult shutting the door with the big curtain behind it. One star deducted for no fan, no one told me the wifi password when I arrived, and there was no cereal or fruit left by 9am for breakfast on Sunday. My parents also paid £30 a night to have their dog in their room yet there wasn’t so much as a dog bowl included, so they could do better on that front."

"No door on the bathroom in the bedroom, which wouldn't be a problem if I couldn't see the toilet from the bed. If you'd like privacy when you go to the toilet, this might not be for you. But other than that, the venue is amazing and the staff were incredible"

"good parking. a sign showing how to.get.into the hotel area would.be very helpful (ie at the traffic lights and roundabout) as took us a while and we used to live here! quilt lumpy but warm enough. loved the shower!"

"Beautiful and clean rooms I've booked twin room and room was spacious, beds were nice and comfy, separated by a night stand so plenty of space between them Bathroom was nice and clean and iron and ironing board were very helpful"

"Small but comfortable rooms. Had a free upgrade to doubles from the singles that we booked which was lovely. Nice and central to amenities in the town. Close to the railway so there is some train noise."

"Staff was very helpful n informed. Especially Rohan at reception who helped us out with all information to go around the city. The rooms tend to be a bit small and bare shelled."

"The room was very comfortable and clean. Lovely big shower. The hotel was very nice and again very clean. Great bar. As you walk in to the reception it is very grand like walking into a beautiful Manor House. Breakfast was very nice with plenty to choose from. The problem I had was it said in the booking email they check in was 2pm. It isn’t it’s 3pm . So be careful."
