"Khaolak Merlin Resort is one of the most beautiful resorts we have stayed in. The rooms are nestled amongst an amazing rainforest with water features everywhere. We shared our own free form pool with only a few other rooms. The beach was great for swimming and very clean - much better than anything we encountered in Phuket."

"The pool and the beach are nice but otherwise this resort is very disappointing! 1) there’s an intermittent sewage smell around the property 2) It’s very remote, so even Bolt and grab dont go there … 3) they try to be « high-end »with spa menu prices that compete with the Ritz but the facilities are very ordinary… and they didn’t have any availability for the duration of my stay !!! There’s about a dozen spa’s five minutes from the resort …(that are 6 times cheaper)… they should make some...
