"I think the hotel could have been refubished since the photos were taken. The rooms and outdoor areas are nicer than than they look.
It in a great location and has lovely views of the river.
The assocaited restaurant and beer garden also good but unlike other comments i would say is expensive and staff not quite as freindly.

"Easy if you are traveling with car, gas station next to hotel best prices. There is public transportation but on Saturday and Sunday no way. We just use parking in Basel. Hotel is good and also the breakfast. "
