Motel 6 Studio in Texarkana
I loved staying at the Motel 6 Studio in Texarkana. It is quiet, secluded, and above all,very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and clean.

clean, simple, basic. affordable place to sleep, clean. the microwave and stove hood did not work. the toilet flushed extremely slowly, multiple flushes to get a small piece of tissue to go down- thinking maybe old pipes. i tested the microwave out in other outlets, and it was dead. fridge was great. tv fine, felt clean and comfortable in bed. i would stay again, because of the great price.

The pics do not tell the real story!
I was happy with check in and the staff but my room was disappointing. It did not even come close to the pics online and I got the deluxe room! Terrible conditions in my room!

Maybe i got a dingy room?
It could use some improvements as far as the upkeep of the room. The bathroom wasn't very appealing and I definitely didn't take a bath in there. I'd say the most fascinating part was the actual room room key, although I believe they should have explained how to use it.

Dirty!!
Sheets and towels were stained including blood stains. Comforters had holes. Walls of bathroom were stained. Hotel was in disrepair. Hotel staff was courteous and very nice.

Good stop - missed the pool
The size of the room was great, as was having the refrigerator, which we used, and kitchenette, which we did not. My daughter was disappointed, however, that the pool was out of service.

Reserve with caution!
Terrible experience! Not at all as advertised! Pictures are misleading. We had to switch 2 rooms before we were able to settle for the night! The first one reaked cigarette smell even though our reservation was for non smoking room. The second one the bathroom toilet did not work. Third room was ok. Nothing more!

The book in the room said this place had breakfast that was the 1st lie. The air conditioner barely worked so the room was hot.

Old worn out place, of the 200 about rooms only 6 cars on property, we herd people arguments till 3am.

Flying insects... Non smoking room
Lots of Flying insects, smelled like smoking room but room indicates non smoking. Dirty ugly sofa that has burn hole. Black small insect and mosquitos. I went outside for fresh air but for some reason the air stinks. I ended up checking out early and slept in the car. Health department needs to inspect this. Needs renovation, peeling paint, defective shower. Never again. Expedia should not sell this hotel. Reception has musty smell. I hope Expedia will refund me

Hotel does not even have a sign
Listed as 2.5 stars, does not merit 1. The hotel does not have any hotel or branding and is not visible from the highway. The non-smoking room reeked of smoke. The sink in the changing area was cracked. The beds were both obviously old and you could feel the springs shift as the mattress collapsed under your weight. The wall mounted air conditioning did work but took a long time to adjust room temperature. A hotel chain obviously abandoned this old property and the current owners did not invest. I would ask the website owners to visit this property and reset the star rating to the appropriate level (of 1).

Not luxury
The room smelled bad. Tried to use the microwave, had to unplug the tv's extention cord to plug in microwave. Still did not work. Tried to call the front desk, the phone did not work. Walked to front desk and manager wanted us to move to a different room, no, bring a different microwave and fix the phone. Problem was fixed. Would not stay here again.

Convenient located hotel
This hotel is very conveniently located right off the main highway and within easy walking distance of several good restaurants. The hotel's staff is friendly and efficient. The room is decently clean. No frills. Plan on eating breakfast somewhere else; even the coffee was scarce...but it's a nice place to stay overnight.

The only positive about the place is the price. Smells awful. Beds are terrible. Bathroom looks old and dingy.

Good Bed and TV. Good price. However,broken knob in shower. At 8:20 7/8's of breakfast food was gone with no refills. Told clerk and he said,"Aren't there any fruit loops left?" By the way I'm a senior citizen.

Refused Service to a United States Marine
I reserved this room for my son and his fiancé who where home visiting for the holiday weekend. Appon arrival to the hotel the employee stated the hotel was booked and no rooms were available. We explained that we had a reservation and tried to give the number when the employee stated there were no rooms and we needed to leave. I do not understand why this would happen as my son although only 19 is very mannered and clean cut (He is a Marine). This was very poor service by the Hotel and we will never use this company again.

Won't stay there again.
Could barely understand the front desk attendant. Seemed to be the only staff, he was still there in the morning when I left. Bags of trash were stacked all over the property. Room air was off when I got in, was stuffy had to leave the door open while I let the AC cool off the room. Carpet was dirty, there was dried mud on the floor by the desk. Though supposedly a non smoking room there was still a tell tail odor of smoke. Free continental breakfast consisted of mini powdered donuts and a box of Fruitloops.

Rooms need remodeling.
The condition of the building was poor. The door to the hotel room was difficult to open. The bathroom needs remodeling. The hotel itself appears substandard for Quality Inn.

I would let it be my LAST choice.
Wow. Now I'm the type that don't mind cheap rooms. but this room was something different. I honestly thought I was in someone's personal room. the sheets and pillows were off the bed, there were personal towels laid out to dry, little lighting. and I just opened the door and stood in the door way. so I called the front desk to request for a new room and he gave me one downstairs with no problem. Now this room was the total opposite. It had a Jacuzzi tube that didn't work. But I wasn't tripping. But the water drained really slowly so the water was up to my shin by the time I got out the tub.

Good for a one night stay.
This hotel was good for us because all we wanted was to sleep and be close to one place. The floors weren't as clean as I would have liked and one of the bedspreads had a half dollar size burn hole in it. I've had far better hotels but it served our purpose.

Housekeepers are nosy and rude. Enters your room when you leave even if you have your Do Not Disturb sign posted.

not satisfied.
The room was dirty. From the carpet being soiled, cigarette burns in bedding, dresser top sticky. The table was wobbly, I thought it was going to break. Was not an overall comfortable experience.

The room was decent with a convenient location. The bed and pillows were too mushy. There were some annoying issues regarding biking at checkout.

For the money look elsewhere!
Ask for additional towels and an hour later still didn't have towels, had to go to the desk and get them myself. It was OK for one night but sure wouldn't want to stay there longer.
