"In fairness before I booked i knew it was 23 miles away from the center but didnt think it was that far...because of the winding roads ir takes about 30 to 35 mins each way to the center of town and the hotel doesnt have a shuttle service. Taxi driver from the airport became my driver the entire time there so it worked out! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant ( Bajo Banana) had some amazing sunsets and good food. "Really amazing property! Gorgeous and the staff are so attentive and helpful. The jetty was so perfect for Sunny days - can jump into the water and it’s perfect. There’s a bar at the end that will keep you hydrated. Every spot in the hotel was ideal for watching the sunset. Amenities were great, the only reason for 4 stars is that so many of them were behind a “paywall.” When you’re paying this much per night, you would hope that snorkel gear is provided free of charge at the least! With that said, they had a nice yoga/stretching class for free and a well maintained gym."

"If you are considering booking this property - DO IT. Do not hesitate. We had an AMAZING experience. The property is so beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. The staff is so kind and helpful. The pool is relaxing. The views are unbeatable. They have an amazing spa where you can book massages and other treatments - we highly recommend the anti-aging facial and massages. If you can upgrade to one of the rooms with an outdoor, private shower, do it, it was so unique and cool. The only thing we weren’t impressed with is the dinner, it was pricey and not that good. But overall the experience was one of a kind and love that no kids are allowed. Thank you to all the staff and crew at Menjaga Bay!"

Only one odd thing to note, first room we were in had kettle and coffee/tea. Second room, no kettle and we were told they don't provide it. Just a little weird."
