Very nice boutique hotel with an amazing view of the town and mountains. The room was small but very comfortable. The staff were friendly. Be prepared to walk up a steep hill.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Ehua. The staff were so accommodating to our every need! The hotel is located super close to the main street and a beautiful restaurant/bar called Margarita concept. There are lots of sounds/smells beyond the walls of the hotel (farm animals, dogs etc) but this is Mexico! It is part of being immersed into the culture. You cannot expect to have a fully silent stay if you are staying so close to the town center. Our room was large, bright and beautiful with stunning views of the mountains.

We had a nice experience at this hotel. From the beginning, the ladies here were very helpful and answered many questions we had. I got a massage, and was refunded when I was given the wrong treatment from what I had ordered and paid for. The massage was just ok, so I wouldn’t get that service there, but other than that, everyone was very nice and helpful. We really appreciated the staff’s attention.

Nice place but loud.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are small but very comfortable. My main problem was with noise. I was put in a room on the first floor near reception and it got loud very early everyday with conversation and doors slamming etc. There was also some kind of construction in the room above me and there was loud incessant banging starting at 9am, even on a Sunday!- so I found it a bit tough to get the rest I needed.

El personal es muy amable, educado y servicial, la vista es buena y la habitación limpia. El tema es que para una “suit” y el precio comparando con otros de la zona es excesivo. La habitación es MUY pequeña, no da espacia para mucho y en fotos se ve amplia. Incluso más pequeña que una habitación normal de hotel. Yo le quitaría el “suit” y la bajaría mínimo a la mitad de precio ya que al abrir la puerta y ver el espacio te sientes engañado.

Este hotel que se presenta como “hotel galería” tipo boutique, pero en la práctica se queda corto en varios aspectos. Las habitaciones tipo “superior”, son muy pequeñas, el colchón no es muy cómodo, las sábanas no se sienten de la mejor calidad, y los artículos de baño son muy limitados (solo shampoo y jabón, ambos muy diluidos o de muy mala calidad y no proveen nada más, ni siquiera crema corporal). En el lado positivo, el personal de recepción fue muy amable, el desayuno estuvo bien, pero no se incluye con el hospedaje. La decoración y el jardín muy agradables y la limpieza aceptable también. Lo mejor: la vista al Tepozteco desde la habitación y terraza. La ubicación también es conveniente, ya que está en una zona tranquila y cercana al centro. En resumen, me parece que por el precio y comparado a otros lugares similares, el escatimar en estos detalles simples pero importantes le resta mucho al lugar.
