"Another lovely stay in a Premium Room. Ground floor room with views onto the golf course and patio doors leading out in to a small open terrace. "First stay here was great. The receptionist was fantastic and very helpful. Second stay which was most recent wasn’t the best. If you get put in room 48, asked to me moved!! The A1M runs at the back of the room so when you are trying to sleep you are kept awake by HGVs that shake the room. Gym at Heath club is great and the food in the cafe is good"

"Lovely pub , rooms very clean ,great staff, the only problem was when we booked this stay it said they served food , when we arrived & asked about this we was told they’d stop serving food a few months ago ,if I’d known this I would have booked somewhere that did this service, also it would have been nice for them to let us no about this change so I could have found somewhere else I think they need to update there site !!!! "We were initially given a room on the first floor, but on returning after going for a meal, we were asked to move, to a room on the ground floor. After five minutes we were asked to move again to the first floor, next to our original room!. The receptionist was very apologetic. We think the bathroom needs updating, it has a shower over the bath, but no hand rails, so getting in and out, can be difficult, as there is nothing to hold on to."

"The hotel is quite dated which adds a lot of character to the property. The general areas are relatively clean but the room we were booked in has seen better days. "Floor was being replaced so part of the kitchen was out of action for evening meals and there was a reduced menu. This wasn’t a problem though as there were still lots of dishes to choose from. Staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. Rooms are big and comfy. Top hotel. Shall return!"

"Not the most helpful of checkins which lasted all of 2 minutes - not told about breakfast times or check out. I think more pre occupied on taking the payment.
