"For the price of 16.99$ per person the buffet had little choice so did not eat there. When we got to our room it was very hot 25C and then we were told the air conditioning had been down for a few days. It won't be repaired during our 3 night stay. Then we were asked if we wanted a fan. Totally unacceptable. For 3 days we asked to speak to the manager and for 3 days we were told she was away or in meetings or no where to be found. I expect compensation without fail or I will definitely take this further. Expedia has to get involved."

"Great place to stay when visiting Ottawa. Rooms are packed with full kitchen, kitchen, living room etc. Location is perfect. Five minutes walk to parliment, great location for food and entertainment. "

"Lorsque nous sommes arrivés et que le réceptionniste nous a demandé si on avait besoin de stationnement, nous avons dit non, nous sommes dans la rue. Il nous a répondu : excellent. Nous aurions aimé être informés qu’il y avait un événement interdisant le stationnement des 7am. Cela nous aurait éviter un remorquage. Il y avait également des déchets derrière le bureau dans la chambre. À part ça, nous avons apprécié notre séjour."

"In our king bed room with balcony the room was extremely clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Balcony is not very welcoming but nice to have access to outdoors for fresh air and a bit of sunshine. Luggage storage before and after the stay was an appreciated service."

"Hotel was very good but the elevator was very old and slow. Our room was also right next to a bunch of kids with no acoustic insulation whatsoever. It could use some renovation."

"We were excited to stay here as the location and price were good. Started off ok though we had to return for the check in as we were too early. The first night we froze as they had no heat and the blanket for the sofa bed was thin as a wafer. There was a terrible nose in the bedroom that lasted all day and night. Apparently it is a known problem though they do nothing to address it. I complained to the concierge who asked the manager if we could switch rooms. The manager said no even though they has an available room for a least one of the two nights. All the rooms ending in 15 are affected, so ensure you’re not in one prior to paying for the room! The noise from the hallways carry into the room and we were awakened by noisy drunk guest coming in late. "

"Great location. Friendly staff. Fast check in and out. Valet parking was prompt retrieving my vehicle. The hotel is on the older side and it has a very old-school vibe to it. I didn’t eat on sight but the restaurant looked good. Overall I was perfectly satisfied with the stay. "

"The staff are extremely helpful. King room is large, clean, shower is clean and hot. Park in city hall for $2. It’s a 5 minute walk. Restaurant is expensive and not all that good. Rooms facing the Main Street are noisy because of the atrium on one side and street on other. The is no ping pong table or basketball hoop as some reviews suggest. Lobby is relaxing and a nice place to enjoy a coffee. Centrally located and easy walk to the main attractions and Rideau Mall."
